International Button Battery Awareness Day
12th June 2024
In the month of June, we invite you to get involved with International Button Battery Awareness, by helping to:
- Educate families and caregivers about the dangers of button batteries;
- Encourage families and businesses to check their homes and workplaces to identify items which may contain button batteries;
- Ensure families and business to check that all items containing button batteries are safely secured by a screw;
- Educate the community about the safe disposal and storage of batteries.

Bella's Footprints are proud to have joined forces with Kidsafe Victoria to create a Billboard campaign raising awareness of the devastation and risks surrounding button batteries.
Our aim is to raise $10,000. Just a $2 donation will help us achieve our fund-raising goal and help to save future lives. Your donations will be greatly received.

In celebration of Bella's 11th heavenly birthday, Bella's Footprints are hosting an online raffle to raise funds which will go towards developing educational programs within the community, while also providing funds to families affected by button battery ingestion.
